Like the origami birds in our logo, Birdsong Bodywork and Pilates has many folds. We take an holistic approach to fitness and healthcare that honors the uniqueness and individuality of every body.
Because one size does not fit all, we use a combination of One-on-One instruction, Massage Therapy and small classes in order to meet your needs. We offer Movement and Massage sessions for strength, joint health, muscle release, connective tissue organization and stress relief. Since meeting your fitness goals sometimes requires different exercise and soft tissue approaches, we sometimes weave different methods into our sessions including, but not limited to Myofascial Release, Anatomy Trains, Trigger Point Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, the ELDOA METHOD and more into our sessions.
We believe an environment that is safe, caring and supportive is the best way to facilitate a healthy relationship between you and your body. When you establish a healthy relationship with your body, your goals often fall naturally into place. Sometimes your goals can change all together.
Our hope is for you to feel more connected in both your physical and mental being after each session.
I have been coming to Kim for deep tissue massage and Thai massage for a couple of years and she is amazing. Her studio space is inviting and relaxing, and she is incredibly knowledgeable about body mechanics. I always leave her studio feeling revived.
